Reservations
A security deposit via credit card is required for all rental equipment unless a credit account has been established with Miramar Party Rentals this authorizes Miramar Party Rentals to charge for rental of items, missing / damaged items, cleaning charges and extra days of rental. Deposits are refundable if cancellation is made at least 48 hours prior to the rental date with the exception of any Special Order Items. A cancellation fee of 50% will apply to any portion of an order canceled after this time, rental day cancellations fee is 100% and Special Order Items cancellation fee is 100%.
In order to avoid errors in preparing your order, we ask that all changes to your order be made 48 hours prior to customer pickup or delivery. Customer is responsible for viewing and approving all information listed on a rental order. Orders cannot be altered after they have been packed. Additional rentals can be picked up at our warehouse or delivered for an additional fee.
All prices are for daily rentals. Rental charges are for time out, whether used or not.
All Permits and permit fees, if applicable, are responsibility of the customer, these fees are non-refundable. All prices quoted are good for 30 days .Customer is responsible for protecting equipment against theft, vandalism, weather conditions.
Pick-up and Delivery
Rentals may be picked up at and returned to our warehouse during the following hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 Pm. Deliveries outside the aforementioned hours will be subject to additional charges. Delivery and pickup service is available at competitive rates. Standard deliveries are made to single locations (such as the ground floor, loading dock, or garage) easily accessible to our delivery crews. Additional charges will be applied to labor intensive. Standard deliveries take place Monday through Friday, 9:00 Am to 5:00 Pm. Saturday and Sunday, after-hours, specific time and holiday deliveries are available for an additional fee; please call our office for a quote. If no representative of the customer is present to receive a delivery, Miramar Party Rental count will be treated as final. All equipment must be repacked, re-stacked, and ready for pickup in the same manner in which it was delivered unless arrangements have been made for Miramar Party Rental to setup and/or breakdown the rental equipment. There is a labor charge for setup and breakdown of equipment; rates are available upon request.
Upon delivery if you notice any of the equipment is not working, or a linen is damaged please call us as soon as you discover the defect, if it is after hours please leave a message on our machine. Please do not wait until you return the equipment to tell us something did not work, we can not give you credit at the time of return.
Repacking and Cleaning
All glassware, china, silver, flatware, food service items, must be free of food and liquids and returned in their original containers in order to avoid a 10 cents cleaning charge per item. All equipment, except linens must be returned clean and dry in order to avoid additional charges. Linens should be shaken off and left out to dry if necessary to prevent mildew and staining. Damp linens should not be stored in plastic bags under any circumstances. Barbecues must be empty of ashes and coals to avoid a $50.00 cleaning fee. Customers are responsible for all equipment until returned to an agent of Miramar Party Rentals.
Damage
All equipment is the customer's responsibility from the time of delivery until the time of return. Customer is responsible for protecting equipment against theft, vandalism, weather conditions. Additional fees apply for any damage, loss, misplacement, or breakage of any equipment, including storage boxes and containers. Rental fees do not apply toward replacement charges.
Damage Waiver
Miramar Party Rentals will waive claims for damage of equipment for an additional fee of 7% of total rental. Damage waiver does not cover loss due to negligence or theft. For claims under damage waiver, all broken parts must be returned. Damage waiver is not refundable. Burns in linen are not covered by damage waiver.
